The 3 Day Race for The Cure
Nancy McDaid has signed up to do the 3 Day Race for the Cure. Congratulations Nancy!!! It is October 6th, 7th, 8th in Philadelphia. This would be an excellent way to raise money for Breast Cancer research and Prevention and celebrate the spirit of Lynne. If anyone would be interested in creating a team post a comment.

I just wanted to add to Stacey's comments on the 3 Day...if you feel you can't participate in the 'race' itself (which is really a 60 mile walk), you can certainly volunteer your time on any of the days to help out. People are needed to set up the sites where the walkers will sleep, prepare and serve meals, bandage feet and all sorts of other things. Even if you can't make it to join the 3 day, or to volunteer, I would like to suggest that possibly you could attend the closing ceremonies. They are positive, emotional, and supportive.
Nancy, my accolades to you for your endeavor...I hope to be there with you - to support you and help you out along the way (My sister and I are volunteers). See you there....and everyone else - I hope to see you there, too.
Good to see folks "stepping up" against cancer. Remember all cancer is tragic when found late. Our goal is to find it early.. get a colonoscopy... Colon cancer kills more people in the USA every year than Breast cancer & Aids combined!!!! EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE CHECKED DON'T WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE 50.
